Talks with BTSARMYZA, a Podcast Series
On 18 May 2020, we officially launched the first season of our podcast, “Talks with BTSARMYZA”. Throughout the first season, we hope to have interesting conversations with various ARMY in South Africa to inspire and share experiences and information pertinent to the South African BTS landscape.

In episode 1, the administrators of this fanbase talk about BTS ARMY South Africa, how we started our fanbase, challenges, our love for BTS and all the things we hope to achieve in the coming years.
Episode 2: Charts and more with BTSCharts_sa | May 25, 2022
In episode 2 of our Talks with BTSARMYZA series of podcasts, we engage the administrators of BTSCharts_SA to discuss South African charts in relation to BTS. We talk about Official Charts, the importance of streaming, South Africa’s most used platforms, the likelihood of BTS touring in South Africa in the near future and much more!

Episode 3: Charity and ARMY with Bangtanmoonlightsa | June 1, 2022
In episode 3 of our Talks with BTSARMYZA series of podcasts, we engage the administrators of BangtanmoonlightSA to discuss charity projects and giving back by South African ARMY. We discuss charity as a tenant of being an ARMY and how to get involved in charitable pursuits.

Episode 4: Events & fandom with OfficiallyKSA & IHeartKPOP | June 8, 2022
In our 4th episode of our Talks with BTSARMYZA series of podcasts, we have a conversation with two friends. Lalitha Moodley is one of the founders of OfficiallyKSA, and Lindi the ARMY behind her fanpage, IHeartKPOP. Both these amazing women have planned and run BTS events in South Africa in the past few years.
We also spend time unpacking their experiences in fandom more generally, their highlights and the challenges they experience in the spaces they manage.
Episode 5: BTS concerts and more with SA ARMY | June 15, 2022
In episode 5 of our Talks with BTSARMYZA series of podcasts, we host two South African ARMY who like us, have travelled abroad to experience the BTS magic. Chantal and Wayonette share some of their experiences of ticketing, seeing BTS live, and their experiences with ARMY.
Finally, the panel briefly discusses the costs associated with travelling to see BTS.
